Moving into a brand new depot in London and creating a state of the art development kitchen in Oxford, Savona have safeguarded their future growth, while also adding additional value that supports their customers growth.
Savona’s story began in the 1960’s as a local bakery, expanding to include Italian produce (and also becoming known as Savona), continuing with own label products in the 1990’s, on to the modern foodservice brand of today. Savona now service all the South of England from three depots, and throughout the UK via their membership with Country Range Group.
Never a company to stand still, they are excited to have recently moved into a brand new premises in Barking, London. These new premises, offer a modern facility with room to grow as the business grows. Thanks to its position on the east side of London, Savona has even better access to offer flexible delivery to South East England.
Not only opening the new London facility, Savona have also renovated their headquarters in Kidlington, Oxford. Now they are able to offer a state-of-the-art development kitchen to customers and suppliers. This is a fantastic addition to the Savona service as customers are welcomed to use the kitchen for developing their own menus, training for their teams, as well as sampling new products from the extensive products offered by Savona.
This is an exciting milestone in Savona’s growth, as they strive to continually add value for their customers and not just a food wholesaler. The company are on a mission to continue to be foodservice that just works – working in partnership with customers to ensure their businesses are successful.
