Savona Foodservice was delighted to welcome students from LVS Oxford to our Development Kitchen for two days of hands-on culinary work experience.
The sessions were hosted by Chef Ken, who led the students through a variety of practical cooking activities, teaching new techniques, sharing his industry knowledge, and encouraging them to build confidence in a professional kitchen environment. Throughout the two days, the students prepared a range of fantastic dishes while developing practical skills, working together as a team, and stepping outside their comfort zones.
Reflecting on the experience, Chef Ken said:
“Spending two days with the students from LVS Oxford at the Savona Development Kitchen was an incredibly rewarding experience. From the moment they arrived, their enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to get involved made the sessions a real pleasure to lead.”
