best friends turned rivals!
For the second time, our Commercial Director Kelly is taking part in the Bikes Against Bombs challenge, this time taking place in Tanzania! She will be cycling 90km a day for 5 days, all to raise vital funds and awareness for MAG (Mines Advisory Group), the wonderful charity that’s saving lives and creating safe communities for those living in the aftermath of war.
Saturday the 14th of June saw our Charity Football Fundraiser, where our Ilfracombe and Oxford/London depots went head to head in a battle for glory, the Savona Cup, and a free pint.
It was an incredible day full of fun, laughter and some healthy competition, with Team Oxford taking home the trophy after a thrilling penalty shootout!
We’re delighted to announce that we raised an amazing £1,200 for the fundraiser, and would like to thank everyone who attended for their support and kind donations.
We would also like to thank The Milky Way, Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park, Little Mama’s and Nicky Tossell for generously donating prizes to our raffle, and of course a massive thank you to the Ilfracombe Town Football Club for letting us use the venue.
