Welcome to Savona Provisions

Established in 1963 when the Holloway brothers borrowed £63 from their father to buy a bakery.  The brand of Grandpont Bakery products was born. 

Since this humble beginning, Grandpont Bakery expanded over the years. In 1970 the company developed further and began importing cheese from a province in Northern Italy called Savona.  And so... Grandpont Bakery evolved to become Savona.

Savona has grown over the years, and, in 2003 Savona was bought by Ken Knowland.  Savona has retained it's "family value" focus and constantly works hard to maintain it's reputation for quality products, convenience and for excellent customer service, whilst ensuring each customer remains "a name and not a number". 

Savona currently has 68 employees to ensure that operations run smoothly.
