Job Summary
We are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives on the night shift at our Ilfracombe depot to work 9pm – 6am.
The role involves heavy lifting and requires working at speed with accuracy. As well as scanning equipment, you will receive a uniform and PPE so that you’re comfortable working in various temperature areas as this is a multi temperature job working in both the chiller and freezer. This role requires confidence using scanners, the ability to problem solve and to work on your own and as part of a team.
Previous Warehouse experience is preferred with the ability to read and speak English. Savona Foodservice maintains large warehouses at every depot to accommodate a diverse array of food items. Prior to visiting any of our depots, please contact us if you have any food product intolerances.
You’ll receive full training on the systems and processes we use to enable you to carry out duties efficiently. If you’re interested in progressing, we’ll support you in what you need to do.
Skills & Knowledge Specification
The ideal candidate will have some knowledge in working within a warehouse and forklift experience, but this is not essential.
Personal Attributes Specification
It’s important you are a team player and a hard worker. The job entails a physical element as you will be picking and stacking food and non food products.
